w(t(f)))

I went to the doctor's for a check-up on my ultrasound results. My thyroid glands are officially fine, except the right one is a tad above average size. OK. I was also meant to get my flu shot. Somehow during the appointment the doctor though it would be prudent for me to get a blood test. He also decided that I should have it right then and there. So I had a blood shot on my left arm shortly followed by a flu shot on the same arm. Unfortunately, after that I stood up way too quickly and had a sweep of nausea from the screwed up levels of blood. ._O So...I did that "sit for ten minutes" thing. :P Now my left arm is numb from flu shot and irritated from blood test.

I still don't know my blood type and am really perplexed as to why none of my accessible birth records have the results or anything, according to my parents. And I still won't know because you need to pay a fee to get your blood type tested. Which my parents, who are supposed to know it in the first place but don't, don't want to pay for. =\

Umm...nasty.

My absence from school today was due to doctor's orders, because I've gotten Tonsillitis. Appearantly this is caused by strep throat bacteria which is why I can't swallow anything right now, and I got put on penicillin. Appearantly this is not contageous, unless I was misdiagnosed for another similar infection (but I wasn't! I hope.)

The initial problem is that my tonsils are already friggin huge. (If you go to the wiki link and look at the picture of tonsillitis, it's nowhere as...funky as mine.) I was floundering on the idea of a tonsilectomy since summer, since one parent is a supporter and one is a nay-sayer. I made my choice today by shining a flashlight into my mouth today and seeing what their size is. Usually smart tonsils have atrophized by now, but mine want to be special.

Razzlefrazzle

Since my random emergence of a fever the past weekend, I have been sick all week and taking antibotics. It's made me extremely tired all week, and it was hard to pay attention in class.

On the other hand I got an MP3 player and Guiness World Records 2006 for my birthday, yay.

Also, one of China's finest literary works:

Harry Potter and Leopard-Walk-Up-To-Dragon

"Harry doesn't know how long it will take to wash the sticky cream cake off his face. For a civilised young man it is disgusting to have dirt on any part of his body. He lies in the high-quality bathtub, keeps wiping his face, and thinks about Dudley's face, which is as fat as the bottom of Aunt Petunia."

Note that the dragon in the book cover looks startlingly like Maleficent from Disney's Sleeping Beauty...

Axebanger

I finished that book finally after putting off a lot of reading. I got really impatient and read half the book in a day. Oh the cliffhanger *tear*

I'm leaving Saturday on a bus tour to P.E.I., although I'll really only be in P.E.I. for a day. It's a seven day thing, a nice break from staying home all summer.

You China peeps better not have come in contact with that swine pathogen spreading around Sichuan.

I'll chop her into messes! Cuckold me!

Today I went to some doctor who checked my neck and throat area (i.e. it hurts now from the pressure of being squeezed over and over)and apparantly I'll have to get a surgery sometime to remove the tonsils. Ugh...

In better news, exams are coming! Hah...
