Alack

The first whiff of exams went by...and now it's time to study. More.

I found Spoonerisms yesterday. A Spoonerism a phrase with exchanged sounds to create humour. Good examples include:
"We must drink a toast to our queer old Dean"
"The lord is a shoving leopard"
"Can I sew you to another sheet?"
"We'll have the hags flung out."
(i.e. Try switching the sounds of the first syllables of two words)

Named after professor William Archibald Spooner, he talked frequently with Spoonerisms. Once he said angrily to one of his students, " "You have hissed all my mystery lectures, and were caught fighting a liar in the quad. Having tasted two worms, you will leave by the next town drain." (Quad : yard, courtyard)
